Psychotherapy Services

Psychotherapy is a tool that helps you to become more aware of your feelings and freer to decide how to manage these feelings or take action to alleviate them. It allows you to make different, more thoughtful decisions.

Having a psychologist to talk to can make all the difference. We’ll work together to help you get to a better place.

Prior to your first meeting, one of our clinicians will be happy to have a 10-15 minute consultation with you to answer basic questions and to set up an initial meeting. You can tell the clinician more about why you sought therapy and the different issues you would like to address.  The therapist will share with you a little bit about how they do therapy and answer your questions. You can decide together if it seems like a good fit.

At our practice we provide individual therapy using a variety of different modalities and techniques.

Treatment Modalities Include:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you to identify maladaptive patterns of thinking, emotional responses, or behaviors and replace them with more desirable patterns.
