Dr. Javadian received a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in clinical psychology from the George Washington University and works as a licensed psychology associate in Washington, DC and Virginia. She completed her doctoral internship at the counseling center at the University of Maryland in Baltimore (UMBC). Additional clinical experiences during graduate school included working at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) Counseling and Wellness Center and George Washington University Center Clinic. Focus areas in her work include trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, loss/grief, immigration and identity related concerns. She has an integrative approach to therapy, with an emphasis on psychodynamic, relational and emotionally informed psychotherapies. Her work is collaborative and compassionate offering an opportunity for self-reflection, exploration and curiosity towards oneself and their larger community. Dr. Javadian speaks Farsi.
